International Student Orientation Required for All New International Students

New International Student Orientation Schedule
 
Dear Student,

All new international students are required to attend the New International Student Orientation on August 15, 2008 at 8:00 a.m. in Plaster Student Union, Room 313. The orientation agenda is as follows:
 
August 13 All International Students arrive in the United States.
August 14 All international students arrive to Springfield, Missouri.
August 15 New International Student Orientation (8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

(You must bring your passport, I-20 or DS2019, past immigration
documents, and I-94 card to this event.)
August 18  New international Graduate Student Orientation
August 19 Graduate Teaching Assistants Orientation
August 20 Student Orientation, Advisement, and Registration (SOAR) for all new undergraduate students (8:30 a.m.- 5:00 p.m.)

In addition to the mandatory International Student Orientation, undergraduate students must attend a SOAR program, a one-day program that introduces undergraduate students to Missouri State University, gives them information, and helps them register for their first semester of classes.  Attendance at SOAR is required for new undergraduate students.  Please register by Thursday, August 14 and click here to learn more about SOAR.
